I started my career at St. Francis Public School District in Fall of 2015 as a Special Education Teacher at St. Francis High School. In Fall of 2017, I moved to Deer Creek Intermediate School as an 8th Grade Special Education Teacher and in Fall of 2022, I became the Dean of Students at Deer Creek. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in May 2010 with a Degree in Special Education and Regular Education Middle Childhood - Early Adolescents. I taught middle school special education for 5 years before relocating to Milwaukee.
In May 2015, I received my licensure in Special Education Early Adolescents - Adult from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from Cardinal Stritch University in August of 2017 and in May of 2018, I received my Director of Special Education and Pupil Services Licenses from Cardinal Stritch University.
In my free time I enjoy reading, DIY projects, exploring the Milwaukee area, going to concerts, traveling, and spending time with my family and friends.
I am looking forward to a wonderful 2023-2024 school year!
