Born and raised in Olympia, Washington....graduated from Timberline High School in 1979...received B.S. in Business Administration/Marketing from Central Washington University in 1983...went to The Ohio State University and received an M.A. in Sports Management in 1985...internship with The NFL/USFL Player's Association in Washington, DC summer 1985...obtained Teacher Credentials (Business Education) from The University of Idaho in 2000.  Taught in Nevada and Colorado before moving to Wisconsin in 2012. I recently purchased a condo in Franklin with my wife of 33 years and our beloved beagle, Toby...We have two boys - Brett 26, married with three kids - Carter is 4, Grace is 2.5 and Hudson was born this past April. Brett works at Wisconsin Athletic Center as a Trainer, lives in Hales Corner...and Green Bay (yes, as in the Packers) 23, has an AA degree in Bookkeeping, and is currently staying with us as he is working in manufacturing 40 hours/week in the hopes of finding his own place - soon!...my hobbies include dog ownership, collecting sports cards/memorabilia, vending at craft shows...avid Green Bay Packer fan and owner...first teaching gig was as a PE teacher in Rockville, Maryland in 1986...have been in education full-time since 2000 with an additional 10+ years as a substitute. Plan to retire this June!
