Welcome and thank you for visiting my SFHS web page!  

I am located in room 212 - directly across from the district office. My door is always open, and I am glad to be of assistance outside of school hours (by request). Please do not hesitate to contact me with any comments, questions, or concerns. 

My purpose is to help students exceed & I am proud to be a part of the St. Francis High School community. 

Background:

I was born & raised in Kenosha. I moved to Milwaukee to attend UW-Milwaukee where I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Journalism/Mass Communication. Fortunately, I was able to do a short study abroad experience in China through my pursuit of a minor in Chinese language studies. Following my undergraduate experience, I secured a position in the health insurance industry, but after some time decided to follow my passion and pursue a career in education.

 I had an incredibly meaningful graduate school experience at Alverno College. I graduated with a master's degree in Education and enthusiastically apply the knowledge I acquired in the classroom.

Since the 2013-2014 school year, I have had an opportunity to work at St. Francis High School in various other roles including reading intervention, summer school, and short-term substitute teaching, and am now entering my 10th year as a full-time English Language Arts teacher. I am happy to have found a home here & I believe SFHS is an incredible school!
