Welcome!

Hello, my name is Tiffany Thorne. The 2023-2024 school year marks the start of my fifth year as a special education teacher at Willow Glen. Prior to becoming a special education teacher, I was an educational assistant at Willow Glen, as well as a parent volunteer. This year, I will be collaborating with second and third grade students and their caregivers in our special education program.

My educational background includes a bachelor's degree in business, marketing and management (Edgewood College), teaching certification in special education ages 6-13 (CESA 1), and a master's degree in special education (UW-Superior).

I have a strong passion for this district because not only do I teach here, but my own children attend St. Francis School District too. My husband and I have two children attending Deer Creek in fifth and eighth grades. Fun fact -- my dad and uncles even went to Willow Glen!

This school year, I look forward to supporting all students and helping them become safe, responsible, and respectful learners at school and in the community. I promise to help students grow academically, socially and emotionally, while also showing kindness and compassion each and every day.
