We were thrilled to showcase the diverse heritages of Mexico, Canada, Germany, Palestine, Menomonee Nation, Oneida Nation, Philippines, Sweden, Ukraine, Ireland, Poland, China, USA (African-American, Chinatown, Eastern Europe), and Italy. Each culture added a beautiful thread to our community's story. 🍲🎶

Election Day is right around the corner, and our #WeAreSFSD Willow Glen students are ready for it! No, they won't be casting their ballots just yet...but when it comes to stickers, St. Francis, they've got you covered!
This past week in art with Mrs. Easton, 3rd Grade has been designing their own "I Voted" stickers! A huge thank you to the PTO who will be printing them off so they can be distributed at all the polling locations in St. Francis!

Mrs. Magyar's 2nd-grade class had an unforgettable day filled with excitement as they learned all about fire safety from the St. Francis Fire Department! Touring the fire truck and ambulance was the highlight, leaving our young #WeAreSFSD learners inspired and informed. 🚒👩🚒✨

#WeAreSFSD 2nd and 3rd graders in the innovation lab have been inspired by the new playground for their next project! Before they can break ground to create their own playground prototype for beanie babies, they must draw up plans and designs in their new "design process planners"! 🎢

Here's another look at #WeAreSFSD's celebration of International Day of Peace. Willow Glen Students created and "planted" over 250 pinwheels in the front of the school. Pinwheels for Peace is a worldwide art installation that gives students the opportunity to create a visual statement about their dedication to creating a more peaceful world.
St. Francis School District has been named an Exceptional District for 3rd Grade Reading Proficiency!
